Malta Organic Agricultural Movement is a non-profit organisation striving to enhance the well being of humanity. Since this is a not-for-profit non-governmental organisation (NGO) funds have to be generated through the generosity of our members, who contribute through their voluntary work and memberships and through the generous support of our sponsors.
Organisation background:
Malta Organic Agriculture Movement (MOAM) was established by a broad coalition of Maltese farmers, consumer advocates and environmentalist on 3rd November 1999. The objectives of the organisation are :
· To promote organic agriculture practices amongst Maltese farmers by training and dissemination of information
· To promote knowledge of and interest in the advantages of organic foods products amongst Maltese consumers.
· To promote agro-tourism as a complementary livelihood for Maltese farmers.
· To promote a better well-being for the consumer, where the agricultural produce is produced in harmony with the ecosystem.
MOAM collaborates with other NGO and Government organisations both locally and internationally to achieve its objectives and this effort requires the financial back-up of our sponsors.
MOAM is also represented on several committees and bodies, both locally and abroad, including the EU Commission. With this sponsorship, MOAM will include your organisation as one of our sponsors during its events and communications, including our website.
