BirdLife Malta
is hosting a fundraising dinner on May 24 at the Argotti
botanic gardens in Floriana. The cost is €35 euro per person which
covers a 3-course dinner with half a bottle of wine per person and live
entertainment provided by William Mangion. We'd be really happy to welcome you
with your friends to this evening under the stars.
During the
dinner we will be launching the "Connect with Nature Fund"
which will finance new project work which BirdLife Malta will be undertaking
with the aim of identifying areas of countryside in the Maltese islands which
are deserving of special protection, as per our legal requirement in terms of
the EU Birds Directive 79/409/EEC as an EU Member State. We intend to carry out
research which will allow us to delineate these areas, lobby for their
protection at an EU level, and eventually manage and monitor these sites.

Should you be
interested in attending the dinner, please note that tables seat 10 persons so
you're welcome to form a group and book a table. Alternatively, if you're less
than 10 people you can share a table with other patrons. I'm also attaching a
booking form to this email which you would need to complete and send to us as
indicated in the form along with the relative payment.
