Achieving Organic Certification.

 

Converting from conventional farming to organic farming requires a process that offers very rewarding advantages.  But for the farmer to be in a position to truly reap the benefits, it is necessary to achieve certification.

In Malta, till now, the body that is responsible in issuing this certification is the Malta Standards Authority.  Only after achieving this certification can the produce be sold as Organic.  Use of the “Organic” can ONLY be utilised by a producer who is certified by the MSA if this is produced locally.
